He sang about love in its most unusual facets, exalting its force to drive towards change. This vocation led him to seek his (apparent) opposite: God, in the less conventional declinations. For the twentieth anniversary of the death of the most influential Italian singer-songwriter (January 11, 1999) we chose a set between the sacred and profane: songs, life stories and prayers, including the Ave Maria in Sardinian that accompanied the funeral ceremony.
