Liscio d’annata playlist

Already widespread in the provinces of present-day Emilia-Romagna in the late nineteenth century, the trademark Italian ballroom dance Liscio exploded as a traditional and commercial phenomenon in the 1970s, when it became a true national passion. Giant ballrooms, dance schools and international competitions promoted a tradition marked by a developed sense of pride in its genuine values and feelings. The collection includes some among its most prominent figures, such as the famous Casadei dynasty which is still active today.
