International Christmas

A concentration of international hits adapted to the Italian language and the style of some of the most important singers of the last fifty years: this is the theme of an anthology that includes songs that have become 'timeless' all over the world, starting with their diffusion in the English language, with two exceptions in Latin and German. Nineteenth-century traditional classics (Stille Nacht, Jingle Bells), choral hymns (Adeste fideles, Angels We Have Heard on High) songs born in Tin Pan Alley (Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Let It Snow), launched by Hollywood (Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas) and Christmas rock as a countertrend (Fairy Tale of New York, Happy Christmas) make up a varied menu that shows how much the international repertoire has also taken root in Italy.
