Un tango italiano playlist

There is an Italian gene in Argentinian Tango: it was implanted from the hundreds of thousands of Italian immigrants who between the end of 1800 and the beginning of 1900 made up half of the population of Buenos Aires and a little less in Montevideo. The dance style gained immediate popularity and fit perfectly with Italian lyrics giving life to evergreen hits especially during the 1930s, when tenors vied with one another to make familiar a sound that evoked exotic locations.
